Non-Destructive Minimally Invasive Inspection

In Santa Monica, California Balcony Inspections conducts thorough visual inspections of waterproofing elements, understanding that structural components typically fail only when the waterproofing is compromised. We meticulously check for signs of unintended water vapor infiltration and wood rot throughout the structure. If we identify any failed waterproofing, we use a borescope to photograph the underside of the balcony in the affected areas. Our detailed report will highlight any detected structural damage. We recommend that destructive testing to determine the full extent of the damage be carried out simultaneously with the repairs to prevent leaving the structure exposed to additional hazards while waiting for the work to be completed.
